EMMA WATSON – A BROWN BULLY VICTIM?
The real reason for Emma Watson to take a break at Brown now to get back to her studies in fall is that she’s been bullied by fellow students as they refuse to perceive her as a “Emma Watson, the student from the UK” and still see her as “Emma Watson who starred in those Harry Potter films.”
According to reports, for the past two years that Watson has spent at Brown she’s often been the subject of mean jokes on behalf of her classmates. Like, whenever she answered questions during classes, the classmates responded with some popular quotes from Harry Potter like ‘Three points for Gryffindor!’ or something similarly stupid, The New York Daily News reported.
Likewise, she was literally haunted by Harry Potter quotes no matter what she was doing – students even shouted those quotes when they saw her attend a local football game, just like any other regular student would do.
Also, last year there were reports some students leaked her naked photos online – the photos showed her wrapped in a towel and going to her room after shower.
Emma’s rep hasn’t yet commented on the reports, but it’s a well-known fact that Emma Watson will not return to Brown due to work commitments – she’s got several projects as a designer, model and actress. Besides, the final Harry Potter installment, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part II, is coming out in three months, so Emma will be busy promoting the movie around the world.
As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible,” Emma Watson said last month. “I will still be working towards my degree… it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought.”
I think Emma is a wonderful person and she doesn’t deserve being bullied just because she’s an actress, she’s famous and rich. Those Brown bullies are miserable and stupid to think their actions can make them more popular and a bit closer to Watson’s superstar status.
